
Sheila passionately believes in the unique and inherent value of each individual and their life journey as a gift to the world. She is a warm, compassionate, and affirming mental health counselor. Her dedication to creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space for her clients is her greatest priority. She desires for her clients to be able to explore, gain insight, and grow through building strength and resilience. Her clients leave feeling confidence that empowers them to overcome life’s challenges and pursue their life dreams.
In therapeutic practice, Sheila works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, co-dependency, grief, loss, PTSD, CPTSD, and spiritual trauma. Utilizing a didactic approach, she integrates various modalities tailored to the needs of each client, so compassionate self-discovery, healing and skill development can unfold into meaningful change.
When not with clients, Sheila loves the arts. You may find her oil painting, drawing, crafting, or reading a good book. She enjoys volunteering in her faith community, meeting new people, traveling, and soaking up time with her grandson. She belongs to a cat, named Jordy, who owns the house.
